India’s largest carrier of air passengers, Air India, is the official airline of the India International Regatta 2010, the Yachting Association of India announced today. Air India will facilitate travel of sportspersons during this year’s mega sailing event. The airline signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Organising Committee to be the official carrier for the event to be held from 3 -10 October, 2010 at Chennai.

Volvo Buses and Volvo Penta on behalf of the Volvo Group in India, has extended its association with Yachting Association of India as the title sponsor of the India International Regatta 2010. This understanding was concluded today with Yachting Association of India.
