With lighter winds, 3 more races were completed today in all four classes. The wind averaged 15 knots and remained steady from the North-East, however the sea state remained high with huge swells.
Feisty conditions greeted the sailors on the first day of the India International Regatta in the Bay of Bengal today. A North-East wind blew steady at an average of 17 knots gusting to over 20 knots.
With perfect sailing conditions setting in on the last day of Championship there was excitement in air amongst the Optimist sailors for the Team Racing competition.
The final day of fleet racing turned out to be a glorious day for sailing with three races for the Optimists and four each for the Laser 4.7s and the 29ers being conducted in the day.
