The winners of the first ASAF Youth Sailing Cup and the India International Regatta were felicitated in a grand ceremony today at the Taj Connemara, Chennai.
The fourth day of the regatta once again saw delightful sailing conditions, a steady wind averageing 17 knots gusting to 20 with moderate swell which made the course challenging.
After two days of fantastic sailing conditions, rains and consistent winds of over 20 knots with gusts of upto 28 forced the Race Committee to cancel the racing for the day.
With lighter winds, 3 more races were completed today in all four classes. The wind averaged 15 knots and remained steady from the North-East, however the sea state remained high with huge swells.
