Ian Walker, two time Olympic Silver Medallist was invited by the organisors to the regatta to interact with the participants and share his journey to the Olympic podium. In addition, Ian who also skippered the "Green Dragon" the Irish-Chinese entry to the VOR 2008-09 shared some of the unforgettable moments of the ocean race with the participants.
